wildfox wickedness.
today i wore one of my favorite tank tops by wildfox. i got it a couple of years ago when they were called whitehorse. you should definitely check out their site. they have some really great stuff and their photo shoots are the bomb. i wore my fave 1974 re-issue levi strauss bell bottoms and jeffrey campbell clogs. for a jacket i added a little color with my laize adzer, and sported my alex + cloe x brian lichtenberg necklace, that i got some time ago at new high (m)art, my favorite store ever. i will have to do a whole write up on them, and if you get time check out their blog. and of course the hat--what would i do without hats. i could spend hours on ebay browsing the hats. if any of you see any really special ones will you give me a holla?!
i noticed i have some new readers and would like to thank you for visiting and for all of your sweet ass comments. you bring brightness to my darkest days--and there have been some pretty dark ones lately. thank you!
also don't forget about *inspire and *ask a stylist. twitter, google, bloglovin' etc. for updates. love.

Ooh I love your re-issue bell-bottoms. I have some deadstock Levi bell bottoms and am inspired to break them out now! Thanks for sharing the new high (m)art place. Gotta check it out!!
ReplyDeleteThat New High (M)art looks awesome. You're making me want to move back to LA. Well, maybe just for a visit. ;) I'm desperate to hit up the Rose Bowl one of these months. Do you ever go for your costumes, etc?
ReplyDeleteLove the tank. I'm thinking of buying their "Math Sucks" just to heckle my nerdy husband who is crashing Calculus right now. Huge nerd.
Love the jeans. Good bell bottoms are so hard to find, which is why I've been forced to make my own.
No more dark days for you! Let your light shine! :D xoxo
p.s. this hat has potential:

thank you so much for all of your sweet ass, kick ass comments. you all rock my world.
ReplyDeletenickie--i haven't gone to the rose bowl for a while but i really want too! i usually pull costumes from costume houses, since i have to overpull it would be a total waste of money to buy from the flea market when i would need to take more than half of it back and couldn't. if you make it down to l.a. i will join you. i usually hit the melrose trading post because it is a lot easier for me. that hat is cute too, but a little pricey. thanks for the link, you are so sweet.
innyvinny--i haven't seen new high (m)arts display. ugh. i need to get over there. i seriously have no excuse it's like 10 minutes away from me. maybe this week. xxx
your tank is perfect. i love it.

Hey everyone, I found some of those 1974 re-issue Levi's if anyone is really dying for them. I don't know anything about this seller or this site, but the price is good:

Oooh, costume houses! I'm drooling. My dad hooked me up w/ a tour of the costume facility at Sony & an interview w/ some big shot there many years ago. I wanted to go into the biz, but decided to go into retail instead. Anyway, Melrose Trading Post sounds fabulous! I remember when Melrose was all punks, now it's gentrified a bit. Sort of like the Haight.
