romper room.

today started out as a lazy day and turned into diy craziness. i turned four tank top/dresses into rompers, tie dyed four items and made this ear wrap i'm wearing. oh and let me not forget the four hours spent in frustration trying to braid my hair. my girl alecto (check out her blog, it kicks ass) was not fast enough with the video, so i had to go and try it without--bad idea. the romper i am wearing is one of my diy's. i really, really want the erin wasson x rvca romper, but it is way out of my price range right now--and being the instant gratification person that i am, had to make something somewhat similar (and by similar, i mean a romper). the opera jacket/duster is my aunt jo's, the boots are my vintage frye's that have been worn into the ground and the bag was my grandma's vintage gucci. i love that bag so much. i don't usually photograph my bags because i stick with the same ones for long periods of time, but i changed mine out today--transfered foxy (she has been with me through many a bag, and i'm kind of co-dependent) and decided to shoot it as well.

hope you are all enjoying your day.

note: the store isn't going to be a big deal, just selling stuff occasionally type of thing.

here is my latest diy ear wrap, i'm thinking of selling them in my shop.

opera jacket: my aunt jo's (can't remember the designer), romper: dress diy, socks: target, boots: vintage frye, bag: grandma's vintage gucci.

  16. you did all of that in one day?! holy sh*t! you're like the fashionable tasmanian devil. except you make stuff, not destroy stuff. so i guess that analogy doesn't quite work, does it? but on another note- i think you rock this romper better than anyone else i've seen so far.

and my reaction to the previous post was thus: *jaw drop* what. the. *bleeeeep*. your husband's reaction made me laugh, though. once upon a time a drunk lady broke in the house when i was 13-ish, stumble down the hall, jump into bed with my little brother and kick him to the floor. it was an interesting night.
