my bff is in town this weekend and we are having a blast as we always do when she is in town. she has a hysterical blog that you should all read for a good laugh. check it! tonite we cleaned and organized my apartment (i know what you are thinking... cleaning? fun? with her everything is fun.) with neon wigs and blue lipstick on. i should have gotten pics. we are going roller skating, old skool style at venice beach on monday and have our outfits planned already. short, shorts and knee highs or thigh high's. holla!!
i am so enthralled by the reaction i get with this wig, especially being in hollywood. if you take a look at any japanese street style magazines or blogs almost all of them have bright colored hair, and yet here in the middle of hollywood people stop and stare. it's quite funny. i'm a bit addicted to shooting with the wigs and hair spray colors because i am growing my bangs out and need my hair done desperately. and who doesn't like to change it up, right?!! i am so glad you all seemed to like the diy video. i do hope my personality came through, because that is important to me. i will do more in the future. let me know what your plans are this weekend, i would love to know. mwah!

ReplyDeleteLove the tights. I saw some similarly bright red tights by Hue on sale at Macy's & I stood there staring at them for the longest time. Totally regretting not getting them. ReplyDeleteBTW have you ever visited the Finnish street style site Hel-Looks: http://www.hel-looks.com/ - there is not a hint of patriotic pompousness in my claim that for me it is the very close second to Japanese street style blogs as source of inspiration. It is not that all Finns dress in such a crazy and entertaining way than people in Hel-Looks do... ...there just happens to be some great people editing it. Shame that the pics are not bigger.
