#1 with a bullet.

let me start by saying that i am not going to be meeting all you fabulous bloggers and i'm bummed. hubby forgot to put our appt. with a healer on the calendar, and i need all the healing i can get. seriously! we do have to have a meet up soon though.

today husband had a day off, which is amazing and rare... so we walked down hollywood blvd. to get mani's and pedi's. walking down the blvd. always means danger if i'm involved. it is so inspiring with all the stripper stores, heavy metal, and souvenir shops. one would not think these stores would be inspiring but you find the most random stuff. so today playmates was having a sale on all their stripper shoes. $10-30. instant adrenaline rush. but bummed because the cash flow is ultra low right now, i did get a pair of $25 boots that i love, and i am wearing in this post. i may be wrong on this, but i usually have good instincts on predicting what is going to be trending soon and although at first i thought the heel on these boots were slightly atrocious, i now think they are kick ass and also think we will be seeing more heels like this soon.

the bullet belt was inspired from lena at quality rivets, she was rocking a different style of bullet belt, but it looked so hot on her, i couldn't resist getting one of my own. i need my own stylist, because i don't like where the belt is hitting on the shorts, i always find these things that drive me crazy, but i guess that is just the wardrobe stylist in me. okay so i ordered the belt on ebay, because it was a bit cheaper, and truth is sometimes i am too lazy to walk two blocks to the blvd. so the bullet belt arrived (not) as an empty box in my mail. seriously. so i had to go through this whole process, with the sellers. but they were ultra cool and sent me another. yay!

also, one thing. it is getting really warm here in the l to the a. which means tessa is wearing less and less clothing every day. i am ultra sorry if my posts get slightly boring, because of this. but i've got to be honest with you, i love the warmth and would take it over cold any day. in fact i plan on moving to mexico and can't wait to spend every day in a bathing suit. mind you i am going to have to find some rockin' accessories. i hope you are all enjoying your weekend. i haven't gotten a chance to get to my blogs and respond to comments today, but will try catching up tomorrow. love to all.

it's the weekend... holla! not that it ever makes a difference in my world, but i'm excited for everyone that works a normal week. shit shit shit! i just found out that i have had this appointment with a healer (and i need all the healing i can get) for ages that my husband forgot to tell me about (bad hubby!). so i will not be able to meet up. but let's all figure out another time to do so. you should still go meet up with dream sequins, inny vinny and the girls, though. i am also extremely excited to meet my blogging peeps at space 15 twenty on cahuenga, this sunday from 2-3 p.m. if you live in l.a. meet us there. they have a flea market that goes on there too. fun! if you have any questions give me a shout out by e-mail. have a lovely weekend all. loves.

my pictures are back to normal crap quality, as i am taking them again. so, i have been diy'ing all day today, as my tweet peeps can attest to my tweets of laziness and lack of motivation. thank god for you girls, giving me online slaps and deadlines. my diy's are always quick as i am master of instant gratification. so i quickly cut off some cheap f21 skinny jeans, cut them up the front, put grommets in them and laced them up. diy #1 finished! second i started with a mens 2xl tee and made it into a dress which i will be wearing shortly. the tee i am wearing i cut up years ago. i hope you are all working hard on your tee's for the giveaway. oh and while you are at it, you have to check out this fab t-shirt that jenna at nyds made. it rocks, as does she! maybe you will get some inspiration too. check it!

spring blooming.

hope you all had a happy st. patricks day. did you do anything fun? it was a big day for me, i put on a neon green shirt, walked to starbucks and got a flat tire. yeah, i know... the excitement. but it was date night with the husband tonite so that made up for it. so i received two awards. one i told you about the other day, and yesterday i was tagged by closet obsessions with a ten good things award. check out her blog while you are at it. she rocks it... hard. so here is my list, which is quite boring, but i am a simple girl.

10. watching movies at home (not at the theater, let me make that clear).

so i guess i'm supposed to pass this on, but i don't want to single anyone out, so whoever wants to do it--go for it. i would love to see ten things that make all of you happy. i actually love doing gratitude lists. every day i walk outside and think of all that i am grateful for. it makes such a difference in my day, and i feel so off when i don't do it. i was also tagged by lace and leather (love her!) with the what is in your bag situation. i already did this here, take a look--and i apologize in advance for anyone with ocd.

this outfit is what i wore today, i just switched out the neon green shirt for the purple as it's not going to be saint patty's day anymore when you all read this. as you all know by now, i cut all of my t-shirts. i love to cut, but don't love to sew. i love these diaper like bloomer shorts, they are so comfy and the awesome necklace is from new york design shop, and by the way, they just got some kick ass feather fringe in that will be pretty awesome for the t-shirt diy's you are all doing, right?! loving all of you so much i can hardly stand it!

new york design shop and i have teamed up for a giveaway. i am so in love with this idea. so basically what you are going to do is get inventive and diy a t-shirt. in 3 weeks we will choose a winner and you will receive a nyds tote with assorted materials. if you don't know anything about nyds you must go to their site and check it out. i really dig the concept. it is somewhere you can go for diy ideas as well as purchase materials needed for your diy. kind of like a one stop shop. i am using some of their materials right now for some diy's. really guys they rock! okay, so let me fill you in on the rules.

a. you must upload a pic of a tee you have diy'd. e-mail your pics to me at me@apparellel.com. the use of nyds materials earns you 5 extra entries.
